This triptych is easily the most elaborate piece of artwork I've ever had given to me. It is made from enameled copper on hinged plywood and applied with numerous types of paint. When Maral presented it to me one evening over dinner, it pretty much blew my mind. I still don't know how exactly to thank her for such a gorgeous piece of work; goodness knows I've been anything but a model friend. Still, I wanted to share this piece and others with everybody. I'll be posting more reader artwork over the coming weeks, so stay tuned. |
